1. Switch To St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union And Save!

Thanks for choosing St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union! We look forward to serving your financial needs and want to make your transition smooth and easy. You can make the switch in 4 easy steps.

2. Open a St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union Account.

It’s really easy to open your St. Lawrence FCU account. Click on the icon below.  Once your Membership has been established, you are eligible to open (or apply for) additional services.

3. Stop using your previous bank account.

Leave sufficient funds in your old account to cover any outstanding checks or automatic payments.  You should keep your old account open until all outstanding transactions have cleared.

4. Transition your automatic transactions.

Use the switch kit forms to set up deposits of paychecks, retirement, and pension checks, or Social Security checks directly to your St. Lawrence FCU account. Don’t forget to notify anyone who makes automatic withdrawals from your account, such as mortgage companies, insurance providers, utility, phone, or cable companies.

5. Close your other account(s).

When your automatic transactions have been switched to your new account and all outstanding checks have cleared your old account, ask your previous financial institution to send you the balance from that account. Don’t forget to destroy your old checks, ATM/Debit cards, and deposit slips.

We’re here to help.  Print the Switch Kit Forms and you are on your way.
